We can bet you’ve probably looked up at the skies dotted with colourful paragliders and thought…some day, (otherwise you wouldn’t be here!), perhaps you’ve seen a landing first-hand on the beaches of La Caleta and felt inspired? MEMORIES FOR LIFE – KARENBRANDS – AUGUST 2020
While taking an evening walk on my last vacation day we saw people paragliding. Me and my friend were thinking about how much fun that must be. When we saw them landing at the beach an impulsive thought ran through my brain: let’s do this now! We went down the beach and just asked. When the pilot, Simon, heard it was my last day on the island, he couldn’t say no. It was late and he wasn’t sure if we would make it, but we tried. Resulting in an amazing sunset flight! It is a memory for life. Described in one word: freedom! The flight was beautiful, but the experience and the team behind it made it perfect! They didn’t need to take us, yet they did! A big shout out to this golden team: Simon, Alberto & Alona, THANK YOU very very much! I think ( i know) i fell in LOVE with paragliding??
